I Waited For You

I have made a lot of observations and found out that those who patiently wait on the Lord never get disappointed. He often exceeds their expectations. I have seen numerous cases, I can't even begin to name all.

You will be rewarded for this and your hope will not be disappointed- Proverbs 23:18. Cast not away your confidence, it will be richly rewarded.- Hebrews 10:35-36.

Remember a post I wrote titled: "I will wait for you" click here to recall. The author of the poem- Janette Ikz, finally found the man she was waiting for!!! She waited shaaa, she got married at age 35 and God exceeded her expectations. Well they married over 3 years ago, so it's a stale gist but for the sake of this post, let's just pretend it's new. She waited, she trusted God, she had a lot of healing to do, she expected the best and her expectations were not cut off, instead they were super exceeded. Trust God on that one, that's the way he blesses, he completely blows your mind. You can tell how blown away she was from the beautiful wedding vows she wrote to her husband. As usual she did her thing, vows turned poetry, it was so beautiful, see it in the video below.

Janette's Wedding Day
Trusting God works 100% of the time, and it is the best stress relief drug you can ever take. Remember marriage is an assignment, are you sure you are prepared for it? Allow God to decide when you are ready. Don't bother yourself, just rest, God works better when you're at rest, so do whatever you can to enter that rest. Focus on what really matters, which is seeking God first and every other thing will be added. And when you seek God first, he directs your path, leads you to your purpose. It's important to find your purpose before you get married, so that you can choose right. Whoever you're marrying should align with your purpose or atleast not hinder it. There may be lots of toasters, lots of people who want you but God is the only one capable of giving you the right ONE, and you can only find that person if you have found yourself in Jesus. It will be worth the wait.

Watch Janette Ikz gush about her husband- Matthew Watson in this wedding vows, titled- "I waited for you". He cried!!! Let me go and look for handkerchief and cry abeg... so touching! I'm composing my own poem in advance, someone must cry that day. *wink*.

Waiting isn't a crime my dear...it's good to wait on the lord because he always comes through for those that diligently seek him.
